  • The Accounting Clerk is prayerfully responsible for facilitating financial operations of

    the non-profit organization by performing a variety of accounting procedures and related tasks. The

    responsibilities can be broken down into three primary areas: Risk Management, Process and Maintain

    Financial Operations, Maintain Transparency and Accountability.


    Skills:

    Demonstrates organizational, verbal, interpersonal, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling,

    reading/comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, and computer skills.
    The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a passion for supporting mission- driven work, and a solid understanding of accounting principles relevant to non-profits.


    Job Knowledge:

    This role is vital to helping the organization maintain transparency and accountability in managing donor

    funds, grants, and operational expenses.


    Education/Experience:

    • Associates or Certificate in accounting required, Bachelors preferred in business or accounting.

    • Previous non-profit bookkeeping experience required.

    • Profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior required.

  • The Director of Development is prayerfully responsible for the ongoing funding of the

    organization as well as continuing to fortify the programmatic mission of Eden’s Glory. These

    responsibilities can be broken down into three areas: Funding Initiatives; Public Relations; and Mission

    Advancement. The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and the Board of

    Directors in all development and fundraising endeavors serving as a public representative of the

    organization in order to build awareness of and commitment to Eden’s Glory.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee the Financial Sustainability Committee pursuing an annual fundraising plan including but not limited to individual and corporate donors, direct mail appeals, other funding appeals, strategic events, and speaking engagements.


    2. Identify prospective individual and corporate donors and develop strategies to cultivate those relationships.


    3. Maintain ongoing communications with private and corporate donors.


    4. Research donor relation programs at similar non-profit organizations.


    5. Communicate with bookkeeper and BOD treasurer to ensure timely and accurate report deliveries to BOD.


    6. Collaborate with staff or volunteers to develop and update marketing materials needed for fundraising efforts.


    7. Developing, implementing, and monitoring progress toward short- and long-term fundraising strategy and goals.


    8. Managing expense budgets for all fundraising, public relations, and communications efforts.


    9. Supervising, setting goals with and for, and reviewing the performance of BOD and FSC in regards to their fiscal commitment as an active productive member of the BOD.


    10. Represents Eden’s Glory at public events.

    11. Oversee resource development.


    12. Overseeing the maintenance and expansion of the organization’s database of supporters.


    13. Ensure implementation of a marketing strategy including but not limited to: media, outreach efforts and public relations and other opportunities to promote Eden’s Glory.


    14. Serving as a public representative of the organization, including cultivating relationships with community members, including prospective volunteers and supporters in order to build awareness of and commitment to Eden’s Glory.


    15. Budget building in collaboration with ED and Treasurer.


    16. Coordinate w ED to secure routes and companies for printing marketing materials.


    17. Attends monthly staff meetings, quarterly BOD.


    Professional Requirements:

    1. Maintains own licensure & certification.


    2. Models professionally appropriate dress, verbal, and behavioral interaction.


    3. Maintains client confidentiality.


    4. Demonstrates ability to perform well under stress.


    5. Communicates complaints and/or suggestions professionally and through appropriate channels.


    6. Fulfills responsibilities in a reliable and dependable manner and uses time effectively.


    7. Recognizes personal as well as staff educational needs and shows motivation to meet these deficits.


    8. Demonstrates highly effective communication skills.


    9. Pursues opportunities and annually attends a minimum of 15 Continuing Education Units assuring topics related to the work and ministry at Eden’s Glory.


    10. Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

    Knowledge of local/global human trafficking issues including common processes, prevalence, legal

    processes, networks of stakeholders, and appropriate interventions.


    Education/Experience:

    • Education and experience in the field of fundraising and donor development.

    Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s required.

    • Profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior required.

  • The Grant Writer is prayerfully responsible for the pursuit and writing for eligible grants

    that aid in the financial sustainability and future of the organization. The responsibilities can be broken

    down into two primary areas: Research and Writing, Submission and Follow-up.

    solid understanding of grant processes relevant to non-profits.
