Meet our speakers
Annie SChomaker, LCSW
CO-FOUNDER AND CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Annie Schomaker is a licensed clinical social worker (license # 149.015231) with a Masters degree from Jane Addams School of Social Work at University of Illinois in Chicago. As Co-Founder, Annie developed the original curriculum for the adult therapeutic program.
With a wealth of clinical experience, Annie provides education and training about human trafficking to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to: health departments, medical personnel, social workers, victim advocates, educators, students, churches, college universities, business owners, law enforcement and other community organizations working with vulnerable populations. Annie also sits on the Illinois State-Wide Task Force for human trafficking.
Rev. Ginger Coakley
CO-FOUNDER AND CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ginger Coakley is an ordained elder of the Free Methodist Church, and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Ginger began fighting slavery in 2011 by leading a group of committed justice seekers in Bond County, Illinois, which became one of the first Set Free Movement teams. Her Set Free team mobilized a regional and statewide response to human trafficking through community-based action, with an emphasis on educating key societal influencers and preventing abuse by addressing the root causes of slavery such as poverty.

SURVIVOR MENTOR AND ASSISTANT HOUSE MANAGER
As the first Eden's Glory graduate, Winda continues to inform and improve our program and trainings with the wisdom that can only come from lived experience. Her trainings offer rich insight into the realities of trafficking, what makes someone vulnerable, and the interventions that actually help survivors.
Meghan, LCSW
CLINICAL DIRECTOR: EDEN'S GLORY AND FOSTER KAIROS
Meghan brings a wealth of clinical experience and practice to her trainings. She holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Samford University and her Masters in Social Work with a Marriage and Family Therapy Certification from the University of Georgia. As the lead program developer for Foster Kairos, she has a unique ability to connect with kids and their caretakers while discussing the realities of trafficking and how to create safety at an age appropriate level.
training and workshop options
We offer 1 hour long sessions, half-day trainings and full-day trainings.
Any training can be customized to meet the needs and goals of your group.
Costs: Mileage and travel costs must be covered, as well as a stipend to compensate for these services: $100/hour for non-profits, $300/hour for service providers.
One free session is offered per year for pledged donors and % for Freedom partners.
