  • 1 Year Minimum Commitment Required

    Job Description: Director of Development is prayerfully responsible for the ongoing funding of the

    organization as well as continuing to fortify the programmatic mission of Eden’s Glory. These

    responsibilities can be broken down into three areas: Funding Initiatives; Public Relations; and Mission

    Advancement.


    The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and the Board of

    Directors in all development and fundraising endeavors serving as a public representative of the

    organization in order to build awareness of and commitment to Eden’s Glory.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee the Financial Sustainability Committee pursuing an annual fundraising plan including

    but not limited to individual and corporate donors, direct mail appeals, other funding appeals, strategic events and speaking engagements.


    2. Identify prospective individual and corporate donors and develop strategies to cultivate those relationships


    3. Maintain ongoing communications with private and corporate donors


    4. Research donor relation programs at similar non-profit organizations


    5. Communicate with bookkeeper and BOD treasurer to ensure timely and accurate report deliveries to BOD


    6. Collaborate with staff or volunteers to develop marketing materials needed for fundraising

    efforts


    7. Receive monetary gifts, allocate and deposit to bank account on a weekly basis.


    8. Developing, implementing and monitoring progress toward short- and long-term fundraising

    strategy and goals.


    9. Managing expense budgets for all fundraising, public relations and communications efforts.


    10. Supervising, setting goals with and for, and reviewing the performance of BOD and FSC in

    regards to their fiscal commitment as a active productive member of the BOD.


    11. Represents Eden’s Glory at public events.


    12. Oversee resource development


    13. Overseeing the maintenance and expansion of the organization’s database of supporters.


    14. Ensure implementation of a marketing strategy including but not limited to: media, outreach efforts and public relations and other opportunities to promote Eden’s Glory


    15. Serving as a public representative of the organization, including cultivating relationships with

    community members, including prospective volunteers and supporters in order to build awareness of and commitment to Eden’s Glory


    16. Budget building in collaboration with ED and Treasurer


    17. Coordinate w ED to secure routes and companies for printing marketing materials


    18. Attends monthly staff meetings, quarterly BOD



    Professional Requirements:

    • Maintains own licensure & certification.
    • Models professionally appropriate dress, verbal, and behavioral interaction.
    • Maintains client confidentiality.
    • Demonstrates ability to perform well under stress.
    • Communicates complaints and/or suggestions professionally and through appropriate channels.
    • Fulfills responsibilities in a reliable and dependable manner and uses time effectively.
    • Recognizes personal as well as staff educational needs and shows motivation to meet these deficits.
    • Demonstrates highly effective communication skills.
    • Pursues opportunities and annually attends a minimum of 15 Continuing Education Units assuring topics related to the work and ministry at Eden’s Glory.
    • Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

    Skills:

    grammar/spelling, reading/comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions,

    and computer skills.


    Job Knowledge:

    Knowledge of local/global human trafficking issues including common processes, prevalence, legal

    processes, networks of stakeholders, and appropriate interventions.


    Education/Experience:

    • Education and experience in the field of fundraising and donor development.
    • Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s required.

    Job Description: The Clinical Therapist is prayerfully responsible for providing counseling to Eden's Glory-Foster Kairos clients. This is accomplished by providing trauma-informed, Christ-centered, evidence-based, and strengths-based therapy to clients, coordinating with the Clinical Director on clients, providing support to client's families, and partnering with the Clinical Director to pursue growth of the program.

    Required Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of local/global human trafficking issues including common processes, prevalence, legal processes, networks of stakeholders, and appropriate interventions. 

    Education & Experience:

    • Master’s degree required
    • Licensed in appropriate mental health field i.e. LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.
    • Previous exposure/work related to field of human trafficking, social service, clinical therapy, or other related human services.

  • 1 Year Minimum Commitment Required

    Job Description: The Resident Health Case Manager is prayerfully responsible for coordinating

    comprehensive wellness and case management duties in our residential program. The responsibilities

    can be broken down into three areas: Resident Case Management, Wellness Coordinating, and

    Organizational Administrative Duties.


    Duties & Responsibilities:


    Resident Case Management

    1. Record and file all appointment records and medicine

    administration records in individual resident med folders.

    2. Update and fill inventory for all necessary medications as

    prescribed or doctor-recommended over the counters; assuring

    accurate administration of those meds.

    3. Creatively assesses volunteer skill sets to meet a variety of

    organizational needs.

    4. Facilitate or assist with resident office tasks as coincide with the

    program map.

    5. Schedules and transports clients to ongoing medical and

    therapeutic appointments as needed.

    6. Coordinates activities, communication & appointments with

    outside referral sources for client care including legal, financial,

    educational and behavioral health resources.


    Wellness Coordinator

    7. Teaches and equips residents to move into various life skills in

    order to thrive in independent living.

    8. Creates an individualized fitness plan for each client and provide

    necessary training.

    9. Leads weekly meal planning that contribute to the clients’ health

    and wellness.

    10. Facilitates a wellness class using Revelation Wellness principles.

    11. Assists in travel and attends grocery shopping outings with clients

    while educating them in the value of having a wellness lens and


    Organizational Administrative Duties

    12. Maintain whole of program calendar implementing direction from

    Program Coordinator by recruiting volunteer teachers or

    facilitating relevant classes.

    13. Represent Eden’s Glory at public events. Participates in

    educational/awareness activities for the community related to

    Edens Glory.

    14. Monitor expenses within budgetary limits.

    15. Attends weekly staff meetings.

    16. Other duties as may be requested by Executive Leadership

    • Demonstrates highly effective communication skills.
    • Pursues opportunities and annually attends a minimum of 15
    • Continuing Education Units assuring topics related to the work and ministry at Eden’s Glory.

    • Practices self-care and pursues counseling or mentorship on quarterly basis minimum.
    • Prioritizes and participates in a four-hour prayer retreat each month.

    Job Knowledge:

    Education/Experience:

    • Graduation from a state-approved school of social work or other appropriate related field.
    • Master’s degree preferred, Bachelors required.
    • Previous exposure/work related to field of human trafficking, social service, clinical therapy, or
    • other related human services.
    • Previous program management experience preferred.

    Job Description:  The Resident Assistant is prayerfully responsible for the successful functioning of the home for evenings & nights or weekends. The responsibilities can be broken down into five areas: Safety, Schedule adherence, Mentoring, Health Care & Domestic Skill Development. The Resident Assistant invests in relationships as a daily mentor and role model to residents for all aspects of Christian communal living. These activities include resident participation in a healthy evening and weekend routine (as indicated by the program structure), assisting in routine maintenance, food preparation, enforcement of rules & policies, ensuring the safety of each resident, and promoting resident independence, dignity, and respect and facilitating the residents’ healthcare.


    Skills: Demonstrates organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading/comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, and computer skills.


    Required Knowledge:  

    • Knowledge of local/global human trafficking issues including common processes, prevalence, and appropriate interventions.


    Education/Experience: 

    • Pursing Degree related to Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Human Services, or Social Work. 

    • Previous exposure/work related to field of human trafficking, social service, clinical therapy, or other related human services, preferred.  

    • Previous experience in leadership role, or sufficient demonstration of life experiences that would provide a good basis for mentoring responsibilities. 

    • Profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
