OUR STAFF

Joining our team means entering a community of dedicated professionals who quickly become family.

  • Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director

My name is Ginger, I am humbled that God called me to lead something like this. Eden’s Glory is an act of courage and obedience, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It is also an honor to have a front row seat to the transforming power and grace of God. In 2010 I was completely unaware that slavery still existed. When I heard, I devoured information from statistics to documentaries, to narrative accounts. I was heart broken at the reality. I was angered by the injustice, and I was CALLED to do something about it. So I quit my job, moved to Illinois, got married, bought a house, had a baby, and started a ministry all in the same year. Crazy! We have been open since September 2015 and I'm grateful to walk alongside survivors every day. Come, let us tell you so so many stories!

  • ANNIE SCHOMAKER, LCSW

    Co-Founder and Co- Executive Director

Annie is a licensed clinical social worker with vast experience of casework, counseling, and training in her field. In 2004, God moved her heart to fight for the broken, the enslaved, and challenge systemic injustices and she has never turned back. Annie is the co-founder and lead program developer for Eden's Glory. MANY hours of learning, research, networking, writing, revising, wrestling, creativity, heart, and PRAYER have been given to the creation of a two-year treatment program for survivors of human trafficking. Annie leads us with a high standard, and with God's help and grace, to focus on the women and their pursuit of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational restoration.

  • Holly

Executive Assistant for Staff and Client Support

Holly is an Alumni of Greenville College with an Education Degree. When attending a Passion Conference in 2010, she learned about the devastation of modern-day slavery. Since that day, God has given Holly a passion to have a hands-on opportunity in helping victims find freedom. Eight years later and a move back home took her on a path that led her to Eden’s Glory.

  • Kalei

    Executive Assistant for Donor Guidance

Kalei has served with Eden’s Glory since the summer of 2018. As an undergraduate student at Greenville University, she served as an intern and activity coordinator. After graduating and moving in 2019, she remained involved by joining our grant writing team. She is so grateful for the opportunity to serve the women at Eden's Glory, and help others join the fight against slavery!

  • Meghan, LCSW

Clinical Director: Eden's Glory and Foster Kairos

Meghan learned about human trafficking when in high school and from then on felt God calling her to work in the anti-trafficking field. Moving forward her studies and research were focused in on this area while figuring out where God was leading. She earned a Bachelor's in Sociology from Samford University in 2016 and Master's in Social Work with a Marriage and Family Therapy Certification from the University of Georgia in 2019. Meghan is excited to walk alongside these wonderful women in their healing process. She believes that God provides real and deep healing and is overjoyed at the opportunity to play a part in His plan for these ladies' lives.

  • Kennedy, MSW

    Program Coordinator

Kennedy was called to work with survivors at the age of 16. She came to Eden's Glory as a social work intern in January 2020. Shortly after graduating from Louisiana State University with her MSW in 2021, she started as our Program Coordinator, overseeing intakes, clinical classes for Eden's Glory and helping with Foster Kairos. She has worked towards this goal for so long, and is so excited to be with a team that she loves, fighting for a cause that she loves. Fun Fact: she has been sky diving in Hawaii.

  • Charity

    Director of Housing

Charity's background is in finance and social services with youth, but she sensed God's call to anti-trafficking work during her time as a student at Liberty University; specifically for awareness, rescue, and aftercare. She is just a few classes shy of completing a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with a cognate in Juvenile Justice & a Bachelors in Homeland Security. While living in South America on outreach with victims and survivors God did awesome things in her life and she returned to the US with renewed strength, and passion and she launched an human trafficking awareness page. Charity recognizes God's direction in her life & that included Eden's Glory as the next place for her to join in God's work, to serve with a team of like-minded individuals who fight for the same cause - complete freedom, which is only possible through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Charity is adventurous, enjoys traveling, competitive game nights with family & friends, writing poetry and visiting her favorite parks.

  • Winda, EG GRaduate

Survivor Mentor/Assistant House Manager and Speaker

My name is Winda, I am a survivor of human trafficking from the age of 4 until age 25. Currently I serve as a peer support mentor at Eden’s Glory. In 2016 I came to Eden’s Glory and that program gave me a second chance at life. Eden’s Glory is a place that helps me encounter God, that erased the lies and wrote truth in my being.

  • Haven

Assistant House Manager and Case Manager

Haven first learned about human trafficking in 2012 during a retreat where Annie led a discussion group. She grew up watching Annie and Ginger do their thing, and in 2017 she met Kevin Austin, director of the Set Free movement, through Free Methodist Bible Quizzing. All of these factors led her to develop a passion for ending human trafficking. In college she helped build a safe home for survivors of trafficking. In 2018, she spent a month in Brazil with the Global Honors Program at Roberts Wesleyan College. The program centered around freedom in Rochester and the world. This experience created a springboard for Haven's passion on a larger scale. Haven currently works as a nurse and hopes to one day open up her own safe home. For now, she is hoping to become a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor to better serve the women at EG in their healing process.

  • Lorna

    Social Media Specialist

Lorna has held several roles at Eden’s Glory over the years, including founding board member and housing staff. She is thrilled in her current role of utilizing her skills in marketing communications to tell about Eden’s Glory both on and off the interwebs. She has a passion for ethical purchasing and is a go-to for all things ethically sourced and fair trade. When not creating computery content, Lorna can be found reading, watching musicals, singing, and going on adventures with Jane Austen, her mini poodle.
