Board of Directors
Rev. Ginger Coakley--Executive Director
Co-Founder and Executive Director, Eden's Glory
My name is Ginger, I am amazed that God called me to lead something like this. Eden’s Glory is an act of courage and obedience, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It is also an honor to have a front row seat to the transforming power and grace of God. In 2010 I was completely unaware that slavery still existed. When I heard, I devoured information from statistics to documentaries, to narrative accounts. I was heart broken at the reality. I was angered by the injustice, and I was CALLED to do something about it. So I quit my job, moved to Illinois, got married, bought a house, had a baby, and started a ministry all in the same year. Crazy! We have been open since September 2015 and have served 7 women so far. We could tell you so so many stories!
Rev. Dr. Kevin Austin--President

Kevin, a former missionary to Thailand, is the founder and director of the Set Free Movement, an organization that seeks to end modern slavery and create new futures in partnership with others. Kevin has 20+ years in cross cultural ministry, partnership with justice organizations, leadership with the Set Free Movement, and academic work. It was by Kevin's inspiration that the idea for Eden's Glory came to life.

The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me
because God anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor,
heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives,
pardon all prisoners. Isaiah 61:1 Msg
But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously. Micah 6:8 Msg
Bishop David Kendall

He serves as overseer of East Michigan, Gateway, Great Plains, Mid-America, North Central, North Michigan, Ohio, Southern Michigan, Wabash, and the African Area Annual Conferences. His passion for ministry centers on two primary calls: first, to communicate the Scriptures as God’s Word in faithful and relevant ways to our world today and second, to assist God’s people to be truly the church in the 21st century. He is committed to Eden's Glory because it expresses so well the Free Methodist passion for helping all persons to realize the freedom and dignity God intends for them.

IL Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB)
Kelly is a licensed attorney and has spent the majority of her career working on behalf of victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse. Even after almost fifteen years of helping victims of sexual exploitation, it was not until 2012 that she became aware of the enormous issue of human trafficking. She felt God was leading her to do more to support those trapped in the dark world of slavery, and she serves on the Board of Eden’s Glory with the prayer that women will come to know the love and redemption of Jesus Christ.
